New Standards and Approvals
All of Everday products are tested according to tough standards and codes. Many of our tests are based on real life situations like how fast our detectors respond to smoldering or flaming fires in the premises. All tests are done to make sure that our products are made to last and save lives. Quality testing is part of offering good design and functionality at an affordable price.
New CE marking for fire detection products
CE marking is a declaration by the manufacturer that a product meets all the appropriate provisions of the relevant legislation implementing certain European Directives. CE marking gives companies easier access into the European market to sell their products without adaptation or rechecking.
Everday engineers every detector to meet and exceed the rating and listing standards for most of the world's recognized approval agencies. We have just passed the factory inspection in Taiwan to meet new Factory Production Control Requirements for EC Certificate of Conformity for parts of EN 54 (Fire detection and alarm systems products). From July 1st 2005 products covered by EN54-3' Fire Alarm devices - sounders; EN54-5' Heat detectors - point detectors and EN54-7' smoke detectors -point detectors using scattered light, transmitted light or ionization" will need to have CE mark if they are to be traded in EU where Construction Products Directive applies. Our customers should rest assured that we are working hard to meet these new tough and costly requirements!
